Sign Up for Monthly Tuition Payments

We would like to remind you of the importance of enrolling in our auto monthly tuition payment plan. This plan covers the 9 months of the school year, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free payment process. By enrolling in September, you can avoid an additional payment in June, making it more convenient for everyone.

  • Girls— Black leotard, “ballet pink” tights, leather or canvas “ballet pink” slippers, hair secured tightly in a bun.

Boys— White t-shirt, black tights or shorts with white crew socks, black leather or canvas ballet slippers.

Second Skin in Marquette, Michigan is a great place to purchase ballet apparel and gear!

  • Students must arrive 5-10minutes before class to allow time to use the bathroom,  dress, remove jewelry and neatly put hair back. All students must be ready to  dance at the start of each class. Makeups for missed classes are offered when  possible and handled on an individual basis. All students must be picked up  within 10 minutes of the end of class.

  • Dancers will receive breaks as determined by the instructor. Please bring water bottles  to class to eliminate the extra time in the lobby to maximize class time.

  • 1. Be respectful and encouraging of every dancer.

    2. Students must be dressed to move for class.

    3. Never say “can’t.” We are all there to learn and practice.

    4. When the teacher is moving, the dancer is moving.

    5. Eyes and attention must always be on the teacher.

    6. Be appreciative of corrections and apply them.

    7. Be kind to your classmates.

    8. No hanging or leaning on barres.

    9. No entering/exiting the classroom unless instructed to do so by the instructor.

    10. Dancers and parents are responsible for their own belongings.

  • Your monthly class tuition is due the first week of each month. We will offer an automatic payment option available online that will be e-mailed to you the first day of classes. You will also have the option to continue to pay by check.

If your balance is not paid in full by the 15th of that month a $10.00 late fee will be added to your account. Please talk to me if you need to make other arrangements for your payments. The great North provides us with unavoidable snow days. If the Iron Mountain AND/OR Kingsford Schools are cancelled due to bad weather NMDA will be closed. Additional classes will be offered in the event of snow days.

If the weather becomes severe later in the day, I will send an e-mail or notify you through the Remind app that we will utilize this season. The weather can be a greater factor for you if you are traveling from surrounding areas. If the weather is too dangerous only in your area you are encouraged to stay at home and make up your classes at a later date. If you must miss classes for personal reasons, i.e., vacation, illness, sports activities, etc., you are responsible for making up these classes (missed classes are not deducted from your lesson fees).

Contact me if your student has a prolonged illness or injury so that I may adjust your account.
